Kids Chance Awareness Week: November 13-17, 2023

We established Kids’ Chance Awareness Week to be a time when every member of the Kids’ Chance community can support our mission, these families, and these kids. By coming together one week each year, we concentrate our efforts, which boosts our volume.

This year, Kids’ Chance Awareness Week is November 13-17, 2023. Join our national movement for one day or for the whole week.

We drew our winning ticket on Wednesday, November 8th and the winner was…State Senator Anne Carney!! We spoke with Anne regarding her big win and she let us know that she’ll be donating her winnings back to the Maine community!

Raffle @ Comp Summit 2021 – “A Collaborative Approach to Workers’ Comp”!

Kids’ Chance of Maine is happy to partner with Comp Summit, which is Maine’s annual, system-wide event for the workers’ compensation community. Each year the conference crunches the numbers, parses the language of the statute, and looks to the future. The quality education reaches the legal community, occupational health and wellness providers, insurers and adjusters, case managers, and Maine employers and employees alike. There is continuing education credit for Maine attorneys, case managers (CCM), and human resource professionals (SHRM CP and SHRM SCP credit and HRCI general credit). The conference mission is the pursuit of common ground for injured workers, Maine employers and the Workers’ Compensation Board. This includes the law’s impact on a tactical “day to day” basis and its strategic impact on employee rights, the business climate in Maine, and the grand bargain that created workers’ compensation systems in the first place.

Stop by the Kids’ Chance booth both days of the conference to purchase your raffle tickets. Winners will be drawn on the final day of Comp Summit. Check back often for the list of awesome prizes!
